Privacy Policy

Overview

Voyara (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a travel itinerary planning tool. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. In short: we collect only what’s necessary to run the service, we never sell your data, and we never will.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service:

• •Account info — your name, email address, and profile picture, obtained via Google OAuth when you sign in.
• •Trip data — itineraries, destinations, and preferences you enter while using Voyara.
• •Usage data — basic logs such as which pages you visit, used only to keep the service running and debug issues.
• •Payment info — if you purchase additional itinerary credits, the transaction is processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• •To create and display your travel itineraries.
• •To authenticate you via Google OAuth and maintain your session.
• •To process payments for itinerary credits (via Razorpay).
• •To send essential service emails (e.g., receipt of a payment). We do not send marketing emails.
• •To improve the service based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. Full stop.

4. Third-Party Services

Voyara uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate:

• •Google OAuth — for sign-in only. We receive your name, email, and profile picture.
• •Razorpay — for payment processing. Subject to Razorpay’s own privacy policy.
• •OpenAI / Anthropic / Azure OpenAI — your trip preferences and destination are sent to an AI provider to generate itinerary content. No personally identifiable information beyond destination and interests is included in these requests.

We do not use advertising networks or tracking pixels.

5. Data Retention

Your account and trip data are stored for as long as you use the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to keep you logged in between sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: HTTPS everywhere, hashed tokens, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Children's Privacy

Voyara is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of Voyara after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
